Sara Gerling

Sara is a partner with NautaDutilh and a member of the firm’s Banking & Finance team. She advises primarily institutional clients on all types of international and domestic financing transactions. She has particular expertise in structured finance and assists clients with the structuring and setting up of regulated and unregulated securitization vehicles as well as the issuance and listing of securities. Sara is a fully qualified German lawyer and holds a postgraduate degree in business law from the university of Poitiers, France. She is member of the Cologne (Germany) and Luxembourg bars and fluent in English, French and German.

Kyriakoula Hatjikiriakos

Kyriakoula Hatjikiriakos is Senior Manager, Legal Counsel in the Commercial, International sector of the Legal team at the National Bank of Canada (NBC) where she advises on commercial lending and secured transactions. Kyriakoula is the author of “Secured Lending in Intellectual Property” with LexisNexis (www.koulah.com) and a course lecturer on secured transactions and bankruptcy at the Faculty of Law of University of Montreal. She is an active member of various Canadian and American industry associations, including Vice-Chair of the IP Financing Subcommittee of the Commercial Finance Division of the ABA and Regent of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers.

Robert J. Lewis

Bob Lewis is head of Sidley’s Chicago Global Finance practice. Bob’s practice focuses on the global financial services industry, including assisting with structuring, negotiating and administering syndicated financings, structured finance transactions, corporate restructurings and workouts, in a variety of industries and sectors. Bob’s has more than 25 years of experience covering a variety of complex financing structures, including sustainability-linked and ESG-linked financings. Bob’s work has spanned a wide range of business arenas, including consumer goods, energy production and distribution, financial services, healthcare, hospitality, mutual funds, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, publishing, real estate and REITs, technology and telecommunications.

Lisa Mantello

Lisa Mantello (Partner, Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP) is an experienced transactional lawyer who is recognized for her fresh perspective and creativity in solving problems for her clients. Lisa practices in all areas of financial services with particular expertise in domestic and cross-border financing transactions, structured finance and derivatives. Lisa brings to the table a wealth of practical knowledge from being involved in some of the most complex and dynamic transactions of the last decade in the Canadian structured finance market.
